This loom is virtually new except that it is 70 years old. The condition is
excellent. Probably no more than 200 ft of material has been woven on this loom.
This was purchased new by my mother from Cromaine Crafts prior to Septemeber 1936.
My parents had contacts with the Gallingers and Cromaine Crafts at least beginning
in 1935. I have not found any paper work on the purchase of the loom, but I have
other documentation and personal knowledge that sets the September 1936 date.
The most probable purchase time was the summer of 1936.
The bridge frame is oak, and the side panels are plywood. This gave the loom a
very modren look.
